Our History

Established in 1984, UDC Corporation has become a full-service Industrial, Commercial, and Construction Contractor serving all Southern California and surrounding areas. UDC is comprised of a General Construction Division, a self-performing Structural Steel and Sheet Metal Fabrication Division, and a Concrete Division. UDC provides diversified fabrication and
construction services to a wide range of markets and is constantly innovating itself to service the needs of this industry.

UDC Corporation is a City of Los Angeles licensed fabricator approved to fabricate the following in the City of Los Angeles:

  • Structural Steel Members
  • Reinforcing Steel (rebar)
  • Hollow Structural Shapes (such as tube steel / rectangular tube)
  • Stainless Steel (stainless structural shapes including sheet metal fabrications)
  • Aluminum (aluminum shapes including sheet metal fabrications)
* As an L.A. Certified and licensed metal fabricator, UDC Corporation is trusted by many clients as a preferred contractor. The City of Los Angeles testing requirements are extensive and stringent.

UDC is a certified and licensed metal fabricator (Los Angeles City Licensed Fabricator #FB01755)

UDC provides services like engineering design, fabrication, and installation inside of our 32,000-square-facility and 1-acre yard that houses state-of-the-art metal fabrication equipment which include: brakes, shears, plasma cutting systems, CNC-controlled equipment, a paint booth, and a Python X Beam cutting line.

UDC is also proud to commission AWS and Los Angeles City Certified welders, and we only outsource to mechanical and civil engineers who are also licensed by the state of California. We also have a safety compliance manager on staff that is dedicated to upholding the high safety standards that UDC has implemented from day one.
